After 14 years in direct sales and 11 years in children’s ministry, my journey took me to seminary in East Tennessee. A couple of years after graduating with my MDiv, God surprised me again with a teaching job in Nebraska. Then in 2019, my world turned upside down with a new ministry career with an amazing church, a leukemia diagnosis for my granddaughter, and the death of both my parents within an 11 month period.
Up until 2019, my life was pretty smooth and I lived with the illusion of control.
Now I’m learning a lot about depending on God through the darkness.
Sometimes the light breaks through. And sometimes God just sits with me in the dark. My posts reflect that journey.
